Vacuum Conveyor and Horizontal Stacker
This gallery showcases the Vacuum Conveyor at various stages of its development. The images include different levels of build progress, alongside a couple of renderings that highlight the overall design concept. These pictures provide a behind-the-scenes look at the engineering and build quality that went into developing this specialized solution for high-speed inkjet printing and sheet handling.
Horizontal Stacker Gallery
This gallery features the Horizontal Stacker, including a rendering and photos of the completed assembly. The images provide a look at the stacker's design and construction.
The Vacuum Conveyor is a high-speed solution designed to hold sheets up to 14 inches wide securely for variable data inkjet printing. The conveyor features a 16.5-inch wide belt with vacuum holes spaced 1.5 inches apart across 9 rows, ensuring the sheets remain flat and stable throughout the printing process. This system is capable of handling up to 5 inkjet printers positioned along 6ft of its 8-foot length, with each printer adjustable across both the width and length for precise print placement.
To complement the vacuum conveyor, I also designed a Horizontal Stacker Conveyor, approximately 4 feet in length, to efficiently collect printed sheets. This stacker works similarly to the design used in the SFM100C, providing a fanned, organized collection of finished sheets, ensuring smooth and efficient handling for further processing.
Below, you’ll find technical details, images, and renderings that showcase the functionality and design of this integrated high-speed printing and stacking system.
